So you have a small apartment. You are possibly wondering, how do I make my small space look comfortable and inviting with out looking cluttered? I have your answer. Actually several answers.

First of all start with looking around, notice the placement of windows and which way the light reflects in the rooms during different times of day. You do not want to blind someone, who could possibly be visiting, by that stunning sunset. Also look at your current furniture and the colors that it is or is not. Some colors can make a room look small, clinical and cold.

Good warm toned colors also make it more comfortable for you to live there. Browns, Reds, Yellows, and Oranges are great colors to open up space and make the room warm and inviting. Use accent rugs to help with the addition of colors as some Landlords do not allow you to paint. Sofa Covers are a great way to add color and save from wear and tear on your furniture.

When choosing a color scheme please note that you should choose something that is easy to clean i.e., browns and grays. White is not a good choice, unless you plan on never really living in your place.

Try to look at the big picture, small living rooms mean that you shouldn?t get a sectional sofa. Instead try a small love seat or futon couch. Not only does the futon couch help with space but it can be converted to a bed for those single room apartments.

If you are on a budget and don?t want to get rid of your current bed and you are in a studio apartment try a bed that looks like a bunk bed with out the lower bunk. That way you can store your dress and other articles under the bunk and enclose it with a curtain and no one can see your unmade bed up top. This is very useful for bachelors.

Try creating rooms with the use of decorative screens. It can make a single room look like two or more rooms are there. Also remember your curtains, they should be allowing the light in, the more light you allow in the bigger the space looks.

Use a small bistro table as a dining table. It is intimate and makes for a great coffee talk spot. If you are lucky enough to have some one in your apartment remember to always hide your laundry. Laundry laying around makes the apartment appear cluttered and small.

Plants are a great way to make your room appear bigger. Try hanging them from the ceiling or by using hooks on the wall. Don?t forget the importance of mirrors. The use of mirrors can make your small apartment look large. Use a focal point and angle your mirror towards it, it gives the illusion of depth.

Most importantly make sure you always have a clean space, it is always bigger when it is clean.

Ok so now you have gone and cleaned, you are noticing that the apartment still looks small. Question your storage. You need some ideas for storage you say? Well I am full of them.

Look around and if you notice you have lots of magazines lying around get yourself a magazine holder. It is a handy little box that is decorative to your specific likes and it cleans up your tables of clutter.

Get your self a footrest that has storage inside of it. It is nice for when the surprise guest comes over and you need to store something quickly. A coffee table with storage underneath it is also a wise choice. The more storage you have that isn?t added clutter makes your life easier.

Wall shelves help to eliminate tabletop mess. Put your collectible gnomes on a small wall shelf and look at all the free space you have just created for yourself.

All of the suggestions presented here to you are easy do it yourself projects. You can get most of these easy to use items at your local all purpose store and hardware store.

When a business is in startup mode, usually the entrepreneur looks for ways to cut costs while obtaining all of the necessary objectives to run their business.

In the case of a voice talent, building a home recording studio is paramount to their success and fundamental to conducting business on a daily basis.

That being said, a voice talent entrepreneur’s highest expense when getting started is the equipment to build their home recording studio. Ideally, a professional-grade home recording studio comprises of a computer, recording and editing software, a professional microphone, a microphone stand, head phones, mixing board, speakers (to hear the balance of your mix with), and a proper room to record in. This recording studio, or room, may be a full-out sound booth or a spare bedroom depending on the resources available to the voice talent.

To give us an idea of what’s out there, professional recording studios are worth tens of thousands of dollars. The most expensive recording studios cost well over 1 million dollars to construct.

On average, a professional-grade home recording studio costs in the neighborhood of $10,000 to $25,000. Smaller project studios or freelance voice talent home studios could range between $2,500 to $5,000, brand new.

Regardless of industry sector or creative background prior to the start of an imminent voice career, the purchase of a professional-grade home recording studio is the largest, most tangible investment that will be made in the life of a voice-over career.

The equipment, once purchased by the business owner, becomes a hard asset, and if need be, can be sold in order to raise funds to purchase newer, more efficient equipment in the future.

Keep in mind that these hard assets are also subject to depreciation. In Canada, computers and electronic equipment depreciate at 50% a year. That’s quite a hefty sum, meaning that a new piece of equipment could depreciate significantly in less than 3 years.

When someone is in the market to buy gently used recording studio equipment, the odds that they will be getting a great deal and equipment in good condition are definitely in their favor. There are many places that buy and sell used equipment ranging from the local newspaper classifieds to online listings on eBay.

There is no shortage of second-hand equipment looking for a good home, that’s for certain, but how can you tell if the equipment is worth the asking price and if it will happily meet your needs?

First off, always be sure to seek out photographs of the object you are interested in. If you are networking locally with someone, setup a meeting to evaluate the equipment in person, including a test-drive of what the piece can do for you and how it operates.

Check for scratches, dents, loose items, and quality. Brand names the likes of Shure, Neumann, and Digi002 are high-end whereas a microphone from an all-purpose electronics store in the mall may be less professional.

Ask where the item was purchased, how much it was purchased for, and when it was purchased. Knowing these variables will give you the leverage you need to decide whether the price for the equipment is fair or way off base. You can also request a copy of the original receipt.

Ask for original boxes, warranties, and user guides. This documentation will prove that you are purchasing from the original owner.

Some manufacturers offer “transfer of ownership” papers allowing you to benefit from free software and hardware upgrades or promotions in the future. The serial number would then be registered under the purchasers name, thus making you eligible to receive bonuses and free upgrades by virtue of your business dealings.

Your return on investment will be evident in good usage of your equipment. As long as you are learning how to use it, you will get something out of it.

When performing exercises, be it weight lifting for building and toning muscles or cardio exercises for endurance and to reduce weight, most people do not dostretching exercises adequately even though stretching exercises can be performed by anyone at any age unless that person has some physical disability to stretch. Many even do not stretch before and after exercising.

?What are the benefits of stretching exercises?

Stretching and limbering up is an important aspect of exercising and should be a part of any exercise program. There are many benefits when you stretch regularly.Stretching exercises not only help you to warm up and cool down during your workouts, it can actually help your muscles to grow bigger and stronger too. Bet this is something new to you eh?

This is because stretching lengthens your muscles and thus giving your muscle fibers a greater range of motion when lifting weights. So in effect, it recruits more muscle fibers and thus causing your muscles to grow stronger and bigger from your weight training.

Furthermore, stretching your muscles after an intensive workout will reduce muscle sore know as DOMS (delayed onset muscle sore) which usually occurs a day after your workout.

Performing stretching exercises before your workout or participation in a physically demanding sporting event will also reduce your chances of injuries and muscle cramps which will certainly wreck your activity.

When performed regularly, stretching exercises will help you gain agility which will make your daily chores more pleasant and if you play sports, you will notice your agility is much better than others who do not stretch. This will put you in a more beneficial position against your opponents.

?Stretching Exercises Anti Aging Benefits

If you are a baby boomer and age is catching up, this agility will make your life so much more pleasurable because you do not have stiff muscles and joints unlike your peers who do not stretch. Thisanti aging benefit from stretching regularly is priceless.

What is more, you can stretch anytime any where as and when you like. Stretching exercises need not necessary be limited as a pre and post workout activity. So start a stretching routine and make it part of your everyday activity. Then very soon, you will enjoy the pleasures and wonderfulanti aging benefits a regular stretching routine can bring you.

Author: JACKIE

What will happen if you are a competent, talented, and compassionate Yoga teacher, without enough dedicated students? Here is a simple answer: Don’t quit your “day job” and don’t open a Yoga studio of your own. Sorry to be so blunt, but you need time to grow your following.

When, or if, you develop a following as an independent contractor, then and only then, think about opening a Yoga center. This is not meant to be harsh, but there are enough Yoga centers with poor business skills to go around, and you don’t need to lose every penny you saved without developing sound business plans.

Therefore, please take time to develop a Yoga business plan with goals and estimated time frames. Unfortunately, I have seen too many Yoga studios open with a “one month plan.” Can you imagine opening an ashram without a telephone, getting caught up in zoning board complications, or just hoping for the best? One poorly organized Yoga studio makes all Yoga teachers look bad, and leaves the public thinking every Yoga studio is like that.

How do you feel when you go to a deli for the 20th time and the counter help tries to avoid you? Do you feel like going back again, when, half the time, they get your order wrong? Where am I going with this?

Every Yoga studio should have an appointed person for customer service and public relations. Yoga teachers should know all of their students’ names “by heart.” If you ignore your Yoga students, there is no reason for them to stay. They will feel unwelcome and unworthy. One of the worst ways to handle a student / teacher relationship is to ignore a Yoga student.

Be careful of perceptions that make you feel like you are better than your Yoga students. Remember that your students pay you to teach Yoga. You should treat them like your best friends. How many of your friends are paying for your meals, car, mortgage, or your vacations? Your Yoga students are “number one.”

Doing the “little extras,” keeps Yoga students. When a student has a question, it is your job to give an informed answer; and if you do not have one, consult with a senior or master Yoga teacher. If you are not a “people person,” do not become a Yoga teacher.

Make sure that the person who answers your phone loves people. You can’t keep a Yoga studio open with a grumpy receptionist. The receptionist is their initial “gate keeper” of a Yoga studio, and for Yoga students, that gate should be held open with a wide smile.

Each Yoga studio should be a haven for students to find what they seek, without putting up with inferior service. They face far too much of it, outside the Yoga class. You should know the needs of your students and promise only what you can deliver.

Author: Joseph Lizio

One of the biggest struggles I had in starting my business was actually coming up with the idea. I wanted something that was scalable as well as needed in our society. I combed through hundreds of ideas before settling on my current venture. Through this discovery period, I uncovered what I believe are the five most important concepts in determining what makes the perfect business idea.

So, what is a perfect idea? Each individual entrepreneur has their concept of the perfect business. While Google is a great business for the founders of that company – it may not be a great business for others that are non-tech savvy or who do not want to run such a large organization.

Therefore, each perfect business is defined by the business owners. Keeping this in mind, let’s start on my five concepts of finding the perfect business:

Number One – Understanding your customer: This might seem strange to start here as how do you know your customers before you have a business idea in place. The answer is simple – your customers make the business, therefore without customers there is no business. If you have a business idea don’t try to develop the idea around what YOU think potential customers will like or need, but find out what your customers actually desire. Too often business owners get an idea in their head and jump right in with both feet. However, they soon find out that their target market does not want what they are offering. Spending both time and money on a project just to see it languish is not the perfect business idea.

Moreover, let’s say you don’t already have an idea – getting out and understand consumers (those who will eventually become your customers) may lead you to the perfect idea. Knowing what potential consumers need and building products to meets those needs will get customers beating a path to your door – that is a perfect business idea.

Number Two – Passion: Passion here does not mean being fanatical about your product or service. But, it does mean having some interest in what you do. More times than not, you will be spending 15 to 18 hours a day working on your business in the beginning – usually for the first 12 to 18 months (more like 2 years in this economy). You have to constantly be thinking about ways to improve and grow your business as well as be out talking about it to everyone, everywhere. If you end up starting a venture that you don’t have passion for, something that does not make you jump out of bed each morning, it will be very hard to put in the hours and energy to make it successful – thus not a perfect business idea.

Number Three – Understand Your Competition: Every business has competition – either direct or indirect. Think about movie theaters. They have direct competition from video rental stores or at home television. They also have indirect competition from any other activity that consumers spend their disposable income on like bowling, paint ball, golf, etc. Anything that people do in their spare time.

Further, some competitors are ruthless. Meaning that if you promote and offer a product that is similar to theirs but at a lower price, these competitors will just lower their price to match or beat you. If they are already established businesses – they may be able to undercut your price enough to drive you out of business.

If you don’t know your competition – what they are willing to do to keep you out of their market – you may be spending more of your time in a pricing war then growing your business – not the perfect business idea.

Number Four – Cash Flow: Lots of entrepreneurs enter the business world with great ideas but very poor understanding of the capital it will take to get their venture off the ground. Most will prototype their product or service and understand what it takes to make the product or provide the service but they don’t understand the capital it takes to manage the rest of the organization – including marketing (very expensive but extremely necessary), employees (more than just salaries or wages), insurance or supplies and all the little miscellaneous expenses that add up very quickly like phone, internet, computer services, etc. Knowing your total cash flow will help ensure that all of your costs (variable and fixed) can be covered by the business – the perfect business idea. I have seen way too many businesses with great products fail because they could not cover simple expenses like rent or utilities.

Number Five – You: Know who you are. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Know that you are ready, willing and able to do what it takes to make your venture a success. I have worked with many business owners in the past that think all they have to do is hang out their shingle and they have it made. Thus, when it comes down to actually running the business day-to-day – they are unwilling to invest the time, energy or money necessary for success. Thus, know how hard you are willing to work.

Moreover, know your personal financial situation and what you need the business to generate to cover your lifestyle. If you think your business will pay you a great salary from day one – it will not. And, if you need it to, it is not the perfect business idea for you. Take away outside distractions like your personal financial situation – get those in order – thus, when your business concept does materialize – you will be able to solely focus on its conception and growth. In the end providing you the financial security you are seeking – it will be the perfect business idea.

Regardless of the level of your desire for your business – a lifestyle mom and pop operation or a multi-national conglomerate – if you develop a business idea with these five concepts in mind – your idea will be the perfect business idea for you.
Vitamin c is also essential for the synthesis of collagen protein that forms the support structure of connective tissues in general and that is present in the dermis where its reduction, involves the appearance of wrinkles and visible skin relaxation.
Vitamin c is the least stable of all the vitamins, because it is easily damaged by exposure to high temperatures, sunlight and atmospheric oxygen.
In fact, vitamin c, mainly because of its easy ox disability, is one of the most sensitive nutrients, and significantly affected the cooking and processing technology, as well as the length of time elapsing between collection and consumption.
Therefore focus on ways of taking food rich in this vitamin.
In this season a dish of our tradition may help sensitive skin: pasta and tomato basil. In fact, tomatoes contain lycopene, a carotenoid red to reverse the aging of the skin protecting it from harmful solar rays, improving and protecting the compactness of collagen fibers, while the basil contains an essential oil from the many soothing properties, useful in the treatment of sensitive skin.
The tomatoes can be consumed as a juice: quenches and make very few calories.
Even as terpenes and phenols anethole, linalool, menthol, rosemary acid, cinnamaldehyde, present in the herbs commonly used to flavor foods, are excellent antioxidants and helps the skin more sensitive to deal with daily stress.
Another powerful antioxidant is vitamin a contained in eggs, milk and dairy products and liver, while the beta-carotene, which is the precursor, is found in green and yellow vegetables (carrots, broccoli, spinach, peppers, pumpkins, oranges, apricot and mango) and a place of protection for the mucosal epithelium and also promotes the synthesis of components of the skin that maintain the integrity, elasticity and hydration.
A deficiency results in dryness and hardening of the skin.
It ‘also important to take vitamin p or bioflavonoid play as a strong protective action of small capillaries.
I am more rich, cherries, blueberries, apricots, grapes and plums.
Absolutely banned those foods that dilate the blood vessel walls and then stop to spicy foods, alcohol and spicy.
It should be replaced coffee with green tea one of the most surprising sources of Flavonoid that neutralize free radicals, potentially harmful because they may encourage the emergence of problems all skin more sensible.

Discover the factors that contribute to your beauty
It is a day like any other. You wake up after having slept a fair number of hours the night before you clean your face and you’ve carefully laid out the night cream. Yet, even if there are new wrinkles, the mirror tells you that something is wrong…
You’ve already tried this feeling? Then it is time to know better what is good for your skin and especially the many factors that contribute to its beauty … I passed the age of imperfections such as pimples and points blacks, begins that of redness, dark spots, the awards eye and more enemies to fight and know why this can only be countered!First of all, you do not panic: the skin is the mirror of wellness and inner vitality and perhaps ultimately you are a little neglected. The beauty of the skin, it affects not only aging but also nutrition, lifestyle and the products you use to protect it and make it active every day.
Want to review on your face brightness, color tone and a uniform? Then, learn the little tricks to bring to your skin the beauty it deserves!
Start by removing the many bad habits that are learned over time and say goodbye to smoking, to the excesses of alcohol, exposure to the sun without protection. If you need to do many hours of flight, remember to moisturize the skin a lot during the trip with a proper cream. Also keep in mind the stress, perhaps subscribing to a course of yoga, and try to move a lot of time outdoors in areas with little pollution. And to be quiet … Look at those who say yes and say no! Continue revising your diet: favorite ingredients rich in antioxidants and make full of vitamins e and c, omega 3 + 6, lycopene (found for example in tomatoes) and beta-carotene. Fruit and vegetables are a concentration of wealth not only for health but also to the skin, so the green light to pumpkins, carrots, spinach, endive, tomatoes, peaches and apricots!
Cut the time to do sport because, in addition to keeping your body in shape, physical activity activates the metabolism and every cell of your body (not counting that removes the stress which is one of the contributory causes of skin off!).
Finally, by far the ‘hygiene of the face because the lack of cleanliness is one of the main factors of skin aging. Skin cells, in fact, are added to the dirt and sebum hindered cellular exchanges are essential to maintain a cycle of renewal. So much time devoted to cleaning and morning to night, with a cleansing milk and tonic adequate. And finally, of course, always apply a treatment eyes and face (day-night) most suited to your skin type.
With this little “work plan” you’ll see your face flourishing day by day.

Every day, especially in winter, our skin is stressed by exogenous agents: sudden changes of temperature, the frenetic rhythms of the day and an incorrect diet. That is why it becomes essential to caring attention with gestures and constant: a skin in full health is a skin nourished and hydrated.
The enemies of the skin
The skin renews itself naturally every 28 days, but age and weather conditions can alter this process by favoring the accumulation of cell death: the result is a rough skin on and off.
This happens mainly in winter because the cold may act in part by impairing the microcirculation of the skin and this may result, dehydration and dry skin, externally visible through the color off and the skin dry and rough. An entirely natural process which is important to respond with appropriate treatment and a diet rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidant substances, thereby enabling the skin to restore its normal balance.

Why wrinkles are a symbol of wisdom? Here are some interesting facts and quotations related to wrinkles.
Wrinkles surround all our lives. They are like all repeated gestures and expressions of our face that become real features. Wrinkles are the mirror of how you are watching the world frowning, scorned, scared, tired, or just surprised. Over the years, the design of the look is indelible.
The wisdom of life not long ago, some archaeologists have discovered that on a famous sculpture of Nefertiti, brought to light in Egypt in 1912 during excavations by Ludwig borchhardt, there are wrinkles on the face sculpted the queen, especially around the eyes.In ancient peoples, and still today among the peoples who live in non-industrialized areas, the wrinkle is the symbol of a life lived, and of wisdom.
Following the discovery, the Altes museum in Berlin has decided to change the lighting in the room where e ‘above the bust of the Egyptian queen, wife of Pharaoh Akhenaton, to enhance and emphasize wrinkles.
