Diseases of the eye: a new emergency

An aging population increases the risk of disease: 23 million Italians have visual defects
The sight of men of the third millennium has changed, in the functions and wears in. Eye more stimulated, but also seen at risk of time.  Also because the years of use of the visual medium has been lengthened by about one third.  In Italy 11 thousand centenarians living in good health but at least with glasses.  A hundred years ago, the cataract did not exist, or almost.  Not because it was not known, but it does not have to come to terms with what is today the most widespread expression of the lens (the natural lens of the eye).  From a culture of candles, nightlife very low rate of vision and reflexes adapted to natural movements, we moved to the artificial light, a television and computer radiating light from within, at a speed appropriate to the media also very fast and they require deep space and reflexes of fractions of a second, more time for daily use and over an increasingly long life.
And the main eye diseases that can affect vision and limit the autonomy of those affected are typically associated with aging: cataracts, glaucoma, and degenerative maculopathy.  In most progress has led to the first contact lenses (glasses, goodbye!) Then the defects of refractive surgery with the laser.  And problems were also from abuse news: corneas damaged by contact lenses used without precaution and correct defects badly in the first years of introduction of the laser.  In Italy more than 23 million people suffer from visual defects.  Wearing glasses or contact lenses.  The sight of the five senses can perceive more than 83% of the information coming from the outside world.  Just then, a small flaw is not just to complicate his life.  It put at risk when, for example, to drive the car, do not have all the visual skills.  “The eye has no problem that is defined emmetrope-Piovella says Matthew, secretary of the Italian Society ophthalmologic (Soi) -.  In this eye, the images are far from fully brought into focus on the retina.  For those closely need to use the crystal, the natural lens.  The visual defects are defined ametropia.  They are: hyperopic, myopia, astigmatism, presbyopia. Which are the Causes of Fibromyalgia?

In general, physicians hold the following view: pathogenesis is unclear, diagnosis is difficult, and treatment is symptomatic. Fibromyalgia is incurable. For the first time, the realization that in the case of fibromyalgia, the acupuncture points are recognized as acupuncture holes which glue up breaks new ground concerning the accuracy of diagnostics as well as the causal treatment. As a result of physical and/or mental stress, the free nerve endings are enclosed by protein, which clots on the spot and seals up the openings. The clotted openings can be cleaned surgically in such a way that they possibly do not glue up again. The stress occurring within the fibrous bundles can be relieved. Relief incisions make sense, in a word, the subtleties of hand surgery and peripheral neurosurgery including microsurgical techniques is necessary. The realization that there are real “switch boxes of meridians” on the arms and the legs allows to perform an operation in the course of which the 6 – 8 acupuncture points dominating one quadrant are examined requiring one single incision. The stress theory includes without the slightest difficulty, all the common factors which can worsen an existing fibromyalgia or cause a latent FMS to break out. Weather, draught, cold, a too rigorous training, house-construction, renovation, hormonal changes, strokes of fate, and mental stress. However, illnesses, virus and bacterial infections, injuries, real rheumatism, lupus, thyroid diseases should be considered as well. Many factors, but only one mechanism!

3) ‘As if by a thread tendeste thumb to the index.  At that point, you attempt to close his eyes.

Oily skin: The oily skin is a problem

The oily skin is a problem, or rather an imperfection, quite widespread.  Typical, but not exclusive, adolescents and young adults, gives the skin a shiny appearance and oily to the touch, hence the term “skin fat.”
The events described above would be in itself sufficient to justify the disappointment of those who suffer every day, unfortunately, however, the problems do not end there: those with oily skin, it is more likely to form acne, seborrhea dermatitis, and dandruff and Androgen tic alopecia.
In an oily skin, also, the film hydrolipidic becomes thick and waxy, obstructing perspiration and promoting the activities of the microorganisms responsible for inflammation and bad smells.
Cases of skin and fat classification
INTRODUCTION
The source of the problem “oily skin” is the hyper function of tiny glands located in the dermis deep and defined the sebaceous glands. Their job is to produce a substance grasosa, called sebum that associating lipid produced by skin keratinocytes and emulsions with liquid fraction of sweat is the hydrolipidic film.  Under normal circumstances, this kind of film protects the skin, keeping it supple and hydrated, and taking away harmful elements, such as germs and bacteria. Caries and nutrition: The health of our teeth also goes through what we eat?

Sugar and caries
Caries is nothing but an infection caused by certain microorganisms that populate the oral cavity.
As the development and proliferation of these bacteria is favored by the residues of food that remain in the interstices between the teeth, it is important to assign a proper oral hygiene adequate.
To figure out which foods are permitted and those to be consumed in moderation must first have in mind the formation mechanism of caries:
The bacteria live in colonies located on the outer wall of the teeth, forming the so-called plaque.  Like all living organisms including bacteria need food to survive.  For this reason, find fertile ground in the food wastes that remain between the teeth.
In particular nutrients for the bacteria are the sugars that are used and converted into lactic acid, a waste product that can erode the enamel and cause dental caries.
Food sugars therefore have a crucial role in the formation of cavities.  The higher the retention of these foods in the oral cavity, the greater the risk of developing this disease.
Starting from these two key considerations can draw a set of rules that food is well respected:
Limit the consumption of sugar: more cryogenic sugars are the simple ones, such as sucrose, glucose and the derivatives industry. However, it is not sufficient to limit the direct taking of sugar to prevent tooth decay.  Today, the sucrose has become the essential ingredient in many foods.  It is found in soft drinks, in confectionery, in Pastine and even breakfast cereals.  Limiting the consumption of sweeteners is therefore a little control. Treating psoriasis

The extreme diversity of clinical forms requires different therapeutic interventions are tailored to the type and severity of symptoms.  It is therefore not possible to determine in advance the effectiveness of a treatment, because what could be useful in a case could be ineffective in another.  Only a fair and thorough screening can then determine the most effective way to treat psoriasis (phototherapy).
Fortunately, whatever the result of the examination, doctors now have available drugs and therapies to treat the disease in the vast majority of cases.  Unfortunately, the current safeguards do not allow treatment to heal completely from the disease but simply to treat it by turning off the activity.
Precisely because of this chronic, psoriasis requires constant care and regular as with other diseases such as diabetes and ‘hypertension. Despite the apparent recovery is also useful to carry out specialized periodicals, and to seize any complications at birth, both ensure that care is taken with no side effects.
Besides the use of traditional medicines in recent years have been introduced so-called “smart drugs” that have proved particularly effective when other treatments do not work or are contraindicated.  These biological drugs produced by recombinant DNA technology can cope with an excellent chance of success even more serious forms of the disease. Soap, pimples, in: applications for the dermatologist

Can I crush the pimples?  Remove a mole is dangerous?  Psoriasis is contagious?  How many questions do in dermatology, because I know that it is trivial, you can have the most beautiful in the physical world, but one side is always sound the best presentation. Chocolate, no chocolate, soap, but as a more neutral or alkaline soap.  Light skin, dark, sunscreens.  How curious, often fueled by common places that have nothing to science. I found an interesting video, where Dr. Riccarda Serri, a specialist in dermatology at the University of Milan answered in a video interview with Corriere Health, on all these issues, making a clean sweep of all that information is not true.

Fighting wrinkles: how to form, types and cosmetic remedies

The wrinkles are not only external signs of microscopic changes that occur in the skin and the dermis.  Lead in practice to a greater rigidity of the skin, loss of elasticity and turgidity by tissue.  If we want to use more scientific terms we can say that the wrinkles are the result of an overall skin atrophy and degeneration of elastic tissue.  The skin is an organ and all other organs of the human body undergo a process of aging.
A process in part physiological and partly driven by external factors such as the sun, the light, smog and all forms of pollution which leads to what is called elastosis: a loss of elastic tissue deep.  There are many, then, the factors leading to the formation of the wrinkle.  There is a natural aging (physiological) attributable the inexorable spend the years.  There is the photo aging, the damage caused by the sun and light and UVA lamps.  Finally, there is the force of gravity, the same force that keeps us stuck to the ground. Wrinkles are no longer a problem

Women and wrinkles: report difficult estate.  For the fair sex – though in truth the men are becoming too attentissimi the physical details – the good news coming from the U.S. go-ahead to treatments that regenerate collagen. This is the conclusion reached by the researchers of the Department of Dermatology and Pathology of the University of Michigan after spending reviewed dozens of studies.
The treatments, therefore, are effective against ‘aging that is due, the skin in particular, for an enzyme – called collagens – which degrades the protein of youth, collagen.  Located in the dermis, this protein supports the ‘skin surface.  Immersed in the matrix of collagen are the fibroblasts, namely the cells that produce the protein is the enzyme that degrades.
